• Resume data: resume files you upload and the structured details we extract from them (name, contact details, work history, education, skills, and projects).
• Job application data: job descriptions, job posting URLs, company and role details, application status, and interview stage notes you save or generate.
• Generated content: cover letters, tailored resumes, interview prep materials, mock interview transcripts and scores, presentations, and other AI-generated documents, along with the prompts used to create them.
• Chat and coaching data: your messages to J3mma's chat and workshop features, used to provide coaching responses and track your progress.
• Billing information: subscription plan and status. Payment card details are handled directly by our payment processor, Stripe, and are not stored on our servers.
• Usage data: basic technical and analytics information about how you interact with the Service, used to improve functionality.

We use your information to:

• Provide core features: resume parsing, job match analysis, AI-generated cover letters, resumes, interview prep, mock interview simulations and scoring, presentations, and the guided workshop.
• Run an advisory job-posting authenticity check to help flag potentially suspicious listings.
• Track and organize your job applications and their progress through interview stages.
• Process subscription payments and manage your billing status.
• Send you account-related and product emails (such as sign-up notifications).
• Maintain, secure, and improve the Service.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate the Service:

• AI processing providers: resume content, job descriptions, and your prompts are sent to third-party AI/large-language-model providers to generate analyses and documents on your behalf.
• Payment processing: billing details are shared with Stripe to process subscriptions.
• Email delivery: your email address is used by our email provider to send you account and product notifications.
• Legal requirements: we may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of J3mma or others.

We retain your resumes, job applications, generated content, and chat history for as long as your account is active, so that your materials and progress remain available to you. If you delete a resume, application, or piece of generated content, it is removed from your account. You may request deletion of your entire account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures — including access controls that restrict each user's data to their own account — to help protect your information from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You can view, edit, or delete your resumes, job applications, and generated content directly within the app at any time. You may update your profile information, and you may cancel your subscription at any time from the billing settings. To request a copy of your data or full account deletion, contact us through the app.

J3mma is not directed to individuals under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
